A Personalized Thanksgiving

24 Oct

Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to get together to celebrate the holiday with a delicious meal.  Some of my personal favorite dishes include green bean casserole, stuffing and sweet potatoes.  I love that some people fry their turkeys while others may grill them.  We all celebrate Thanksgiving in our own way with our traditions and favorite dishes.  A great way to make Thanksgiving dinner more memorable is by adding something personalized.  We have a few ideas to help elevate your table this holiday!

Set your table

Autumn Floral Spray Placemats

Personalized placemats make such a great impression at your Thanksgiving dinner!  We have a lot of beautiful designs to choose from to go with your color scheme and theme.  It almost dresses up your table for you!

Fun Napkins

Football Turkey PIe Napkins

Personalized Thanksgiving napkins have so many uses from appetizers to drinks to dessert.  We have a great collection of napkins to choose from with fun sayings to beautiful and classy so there’s really something for everyone.

Raise a (monogrammed) toast

Personalized Glassware

Raise a toast at dinner with our personalized glassware.  You can use these for Thanksgiving and anytime of year!  The choice of monogram and personalization styles sets these glasses apart from ordinary glassware.  The best part?  They’re dishwasher safe!

Time to carve the turkey!

Personalized carving set with black box

When it’s time to carve the turkey, bring out your own personalized carving set.  The box is personalized (so it also makes a great hostess, gift!).  You can easily store your carving utensils in the box until next Thanksgiving!

Charcuterie in style

Home sweet home large 21-inch wood cutting board

Start Thanksgiving day right with a large charcuterie board to give guests something to nibble on while dinner is cooking. We love our home sweet home wood cutting board to fit all your goodies and once it’s clean you can leave it on your counter as a great decoration.

I hope some of these personalized ideas will inspire you as you get ready for your Thanksgiving this year!

Jennifer

Outdoor Thanksgiving Ideas

11 Nov

With Thanksgiving around the corner, people are trying to find ways to stay safe but still see their friends and family.  A great way to enjoy Thanksgiving is to host an outdoor get-together.  Instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, you can rethink the menu for 2020 and different ways to entertain.

SEATING

If you don’t have enough chairs, ask everyone to bring their favorite outdoor chair.  If the weather is cooler where you live, have them bring an outdoor blanket.  You can always build a fire and/or use outdoor heaters if needed.

For food, why not try an outdoor soup and turkey chili bar?  You can serve soup and chili in individual disposable cups and have plastic utensils wrapped in napkins.  You can also do this with hot cocoa or any other hot beverage.  Another great idea is to have everyone BYOB to keep sharing to a minimum.

For desserts, try serving apple cobbler or pumpkin pie pre-sliced.  You could also serve apple cobbler warm in disposable cups using disposable utensils.

RECIPES

For a twist on Thanksgiving turkey, we love this turkey chili recipe from FoodNetwork.com.  You can serve with individual bags of crackers and cheese.  For a great fall soup, try a creamy roasted pumpkin soup.  You can garnish this with pepitas for color and crunch.

For some great outdoor ambience, try piling gourds and pumpkins amongst mums.  You can add these near serving tables or near entryways.  You can also sprinkle in mini-gourds and pumpkins on the serving table.

How do you plan to spend Thanksgiving this year?  Share your entertaining ideas below in the comments!  Stay safe and be well.
