It’s wedding season and I’ve had quite a few engagement parties, bridal showers and weddings to go to this summer.  With these parties comes gifts.  I always check the couples registry lists and see if there’s anything I’d like to purchase.  But then there are times I go “off the registry” and buy the couple something unique that they might not expect.

Sometimes I get them a gift certificate to their favorite place to eat and write a note saying to enjoy each other amongst all the planning.  Other times I have given gift cards for spa services so they can relax before the wedding.

Another idea I like is personalized champagne flutes or personalized wine glasses.  Gifting this with a bottle of champagne or wine has been my favorite engagement party gift.  The couple can use this for their actual wedding as well and in their home.
