2020 Holiday Photo Card Ideas during COVID

2020 Holiday Photo Card Ideas

It’s that time of year when we start planning holiday cards.  2020 hasn’t proven to be very photo-worthy between trips being canceled and so many special events being postponed.  If you are planning on sending a holiday photo card, we have a few ideas that may help inspire you design your own.

Since we all have to wear masks, why not make it part of your holiday card?  It’s a fun way to capture the feeling of the year as well as a great way to remember 2020.  Card shown:  Let It Snow Flat Holiday Photo Card.

From Zoom meetings to online classrooms, you can capture the year with snapshots of your everyday life.  Card shown: Zoom Call Flat Holiday Photo Card.

With everyone being told to stay at home, a beautiful photo outside in nature speaks volumes this year.  A simple, sweet picture has more meaning as we’ve slowed down to appreciate the quieter moments.  Card shown: Merry Everything Vertical Holiday Photo Card.

If this year really threw you for a loop (and honestly – that would include everyone!), have some fun with a silly picture that can find the humor this holiday season.  Card shown: Foil Happy Holidays Flat Photo Cards.

Speaking of humor, have a LOT of fun like our Tastemaker Trae Bodge did with her holiday card.  She kept the mood light and fun this year.  Card shown: Colorful Bordered Holiday Photo Card.

What kind of holiday card do you plan on doing this year?

Jennifer

Fall is a Fun Season to Snap the Perfect Photo

1 Oct

Photo Holiday CardsFall is a great time of year for photo taking.  The colors of the season brings many opportunities for perfect pictures for your custom holiday cards!

When you are considering what sort of images are good to use on your holiday card, think out of the box.  There are those fun days where pictures are a natural, such as a family walk on the beach on a cool fall day in white sweaters, standing in front of a red barn (a really fun background), or a visit to a stable to ride horses!

If you are apple picking, taking a hayride, or buying a Halloween pumpkin, remember to capture the moment.! The colors of the fall makes for great photo backgrounds. From trees turning luscious shades of autumn, backgrounds filled with mums in rich shades of oranges, yellows and reds, a walk in beautiful woods or other picturesque locations, the natural scenery of the season is ideal.

Remember to take an extra few minutes to snap the picture! Many people also take their holiday card pictures at Thanksgiving or other seasonal family occasions.  The family pictures are great for Christmas Cards and also for New Year cards.

Wherever you decide to take your pictures, just have fun!  And, remember to take both vertical and horizontal pictures so you have options when selecting your photo cards.

Enjoy the season!

Warmest wishes,

Renee
