Introducing Greenery

17 Dec

PMS Color of The Year - GreeneryEach year Pantone announces the Color of the Year.  For 2017 the new color is called Greenery.

The meaning behind this pick, according to Pantone, relates to its refreshing and revitalizing shade.  They contend that Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings needed as the public yearns for reassurance amid a tumultuous social and political environment.

The Pantone Color Institute is a superior supplier of color measurements widely used by designers to “color match” specific colors.

Does this color evoke feelings of spring, nature, reinvigoration for you?  We think it does and we’re very excited about this new color. We invite you to create some products that create your own feeling of nature and vitality.

Here are some pretty personalized gifts like the green and gold note cards and notepads above by Anna Griffin and the green chevron napkins and guest towels by Caspari that celebrate a gorgeous greenery-type color which lends itself to many color combinations found in nature.

Best wishes for happy new beginnings in 2017.
