Personalized Styrofoam Cups

Personalized foam cups are a great way to keep hot beverages hot and cold beverages cold as they are insulated. They’re perfect for a coffee bar, bridal shower tea, baby shower beverage station, corporate meetings, tailgating or a birthday celebration. Our cups are ideal for a hot coffee, hot tea, hot cider, hot cocoa and soups and also work well for cold sodas, juice or iced tea.

Our yearly reorder. Love these cups!” ~ Julie S.

What size cups should I order?

We offer many sizes including 8 oz., 10 oz., 12 oz., 16 oz., 20 oz., and 24 oz.  Our most popular sizes are 16 oz. and 20 oz. cups which are ideal for coffee, tea, hot cocoa, juices and sodas.  They are also a great option for tailgating where you can include mixed drinks or warm soups/chili and a larger 20 oz or 24 oz size would be ideal.  Some of our customers keep these at their work or home year-round to use for get togethers or drinks-on-the-go.  You can order optional lids to make your beverages easy to take with you.

How many cups should I order?

This can depend on how you will be serving your beverages.  If you set-up a self-serve beverage station, your guests may place their drink somewhere and forget where they left it.  Keeping this in mind, it’s wise to plan on 2-3 cups per person to be safe.  Even if you are handing out your drinks, it’s best to order more than you think you may need to be safe.  If you have leftover cups, why not use them when in a pinch?  Or you can use them to start your garden early indoors with a fun view of your plants growing!

We hope this is helpful in planning your next party!

Jennifer

5 Ideas for Throwing a Pumpkin Baby Shower

18 Aug

Are you planning a pumpkin themed baby shower this fall?  We have five great ideas to help you plan the perfect party!

Five Ideas for a Pumpkin Themed Baby Shower

  1. When planning a pumpkin-themed baby shower, try to incorporate all sizes of pumpkins and gourds for decorations.  You can hand-paint them the color of your theme (or gender) and even use stencils on them.
  2. If you’re planning a sit-down luncheon or brunch, you could make your own place settings with mini-pumpkins with guests names on them (also a cute favor to take home).
  3. Throwing a gender reveal party? Carve a pumpkin and the lid is removed to “reveal” the gender.
  4. Serve dips in carved out pumpkins.
  5. Plan a photo opp area with bails of hay and some pumpkins.

To set the tone of your pumpkin themed baby shower,  you can send personalized pumpkin baby shower invitations.  You can get even more ideas on our Pinterest board for Fall Baby Showers.  We are always adding the latest invites and party trends to help you plan the perfect party.  Happy Planning!

Yummy Carrot Cake Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

9 May

This week I made some delicious carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for teacher appreciation week.  It was the perfect chance for me to try out our new baking cups.  And of course, I like to make almost anything that has cream cheese frosting on it!  I used the following recipe and it turned out great!

For the cupcakes (makes 12):
  • 1 cup flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ cups grated carrots (heaping)
  • ⅔ cup oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
For the frosting:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2+ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the grated carrots and the oil. Slowly add the flour mixture, stirring until just mixed. Add the beaten eggs and stir a few times (like 15 or less around the bowl – the fewer the better)!
  2. Scoop batter into baking cups about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way. Bake for 15 minutes, check how they’re doing, and add a few minutes if necessary. I find that the baking time varies greatly with oven, so just check for the right golden brown color and springy tops. Allow the cupcakes to cool.
  3. For the frosting, blend the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until smooth. Slowly beat in the powdered sugar until smooth. Transfer to a plastic bag or similar tool for piping the frosting evenly on the cupcakes.

Lilac Baking Cups I used our Lilac Damask Stripe Large Baking Cups for these cupcakes.  They worked really well and looked beautiful on a serving tray.  While I used these for a teacher appreciation luncheon, I was thinking of different events these would be ideal for and these are a few I came up with:

  • Bridal Shower
  • Graduation Party
  • Baby Shower
  • Ladies Luncheon
  • Mother’s Day Brunch
  • 1st Birthday Party

Of course, there are many more uses, but these were the first to pop in my head.  Let me know what you think of our new baking cups and if you decide to use them for your special event.  I would love to hear what you do with yours! xoxo Jennifer
