I also love to bake so I was so excited to share my goodies as well.\u00a0 I came across this recipe in my new Family Circle magazine for Pumpkin Custard Squares and decided I had to make them.\u00a0 A friend of mine just had surgery so what better excuse to make these yummy treats?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2012\" title=\"ingredients\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.thestationerystudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/ingredients-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"490\" height=\"367\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.thestationerystudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/ingredients-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.thestationerystudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/ingredients-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.thestationerystudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/ingredients.jpg 2000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Click this\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a title=\"Pumpkin Custard Squares\" href=\"http:\/\/www.familycircle.com\/recipe\/pumpkin-custard-squares\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> link<\/span><\/a><\/span> to find the recipe to the delicious squares I made.\u00a0 I will share with you some swaps I did to make them a little healthier:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>Instead of eggs, I use egg substitute.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>For sugar, I used sugar substitute.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>For butter I substituted a healthy Omega spread instead.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\">These pumpkin squares would be great to bring over to a new neighbor, a friend who had a baby, or why not just make them for yourself?\u00a0 I hope you love them as much as I do.
