Today we thought it would be fun to peek into just one day at one of our factories to see what some of our many fabulous production professionals do to support the many thousands of stationery and note pad orders that go through their plant each month.  With decades of experience, their individual care to each order produced is notable.

Every day our typesetting specialists look forward to entering Stationery Studio orders. Geraldine, who has been with our company for 32 years, enters each order into our system and previews it to ensure the typesetting is exactly what our customers are looking for. Items are checked for spelling, ink color and layout to be sure that the quality of the product will be excellent before it enters production. Geraldine’s passion for each customer order shines thru daily as she processes these orders and prepares them for the production team. Her goal is to have all overnight orders released to production before noon so they can be printed and ready to ship on a timely basis to customers.

Lisa, a 29 year press employee, will pull the typeset file to her digital press to be printed. She checks for the correct paper stock and ink color. Then one sheet will be printed to  check placement on the paper and to verify that the overall look of the product is what the customer is looking for, a high quality personalized stationery item. Upon her approval she will release the order to be produced. The product is then moved to the next step of the process which could be cutting the paper down to a specific finished size  or adhering glue to the end to creating notepads.

Once the personalized items are produced, they go to the packaging department. The packaging area will give the order a final approval on the job. Once the order is assembled and ready, Kathy, with 30 years of experience will take the stationery or other items and carefully wrap in tissue and place it into a gift box or packaging appropriate to the product preparing it for final shipment.

The entire process is completed when our orders are shipped and have been picked up by shipping services. There is such passion to ensure that we are sending our customers the best product with the greatest value.  We are proud of the job we do each and every day.
