The Stationery Studio Gives Back to Community this Holiday

I love this time of year.  The decorations, making cookies, buying presents for loved ones.  But I think more than anything, I really enjoy giving back.  I am happy to work at a company that feels the same way and truly reached out to it’s community this year.   The Stationery Studio gave back this holiday season by hosting a coat drive and helping their local food bank.  The coat drive was run through One Warm Coat and benefited JOURNEYS.  The Stationery Studio donated money to the Vernon Township Food Pantry to help those in need in their community.

“We wanted to help those in our community,” said The Stationery Studio owner and President Marc Redman.  “Hosting the coat drive and helping our local food pantry help those who live where we live and work.”  Over 300 coats were collected through the coat drive and came at the perfect time since the weather in the Chicago area is starting to drop.

The Vernon Township Food Pantry said the money donated helps to provide for over 140 families who are in need.  William Peterson, Vernon Township Supervisor, was there to accept the donation from The Stationery Studio owners Marc and Renee Redman.  “We truly appreciate this monetary donation,” said Peterson.  “We were able to help all the families in the area this year.”
