Certain login requests are done in order to ensure a consistent shopping experience for our customers and to best serve their needs. We have found it best to require the customer login to use certain features of our site. We ask customers to login so they are able to view their Wish List on different computers. For example, a customer may setup their Wish List on their office computer, but then later want to review it on their home computer. If we relied solely on cookies and avoided the login steps then a customer would only be able to view the Wish List on the computer where it was created. Our process has been more flexible for our customer base.
