These are painted in special glaze formulas before the product is kiln fired thus the decorations melt into or "bond" within the clay. The finish is 100% permanent and completely dishwasher & microwave safe. All products are made from "scratch" and each piece is chip-resistant, oven safe (up to 450 degrees fahrenheit) and lead free.
