These are painted in special glaze formulas before the product is kiln fired thus the decorations melt into or "bond" within the clay. The finish is 100% permanent and completely dishwasher safe. All products are made from scratch and each piece is chip-resistant, oven safe (up to 450 degrees fahrenheit) and lead free. Made in America with the best materials available.
