Purchases are deducted from the Gift Certificate balance. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's Gift Certificate account when redeemed. If an order exceeds the amount of the Gift Certificate, the balance must be paid with a credit card or other available payment method. Gift certificates purchased online or by phone order are valid for 1 year from date of purchase. Gift Certificates generated through a particular promotion may be valid for a shorter amount of time. Promotional offers are not applicable for use with the purchase of a Gift Certificate. Gift Certificates are not valid on items that are E-invite or CC-Easy products. These items open in a separate window with a heading that says E-invite or CC-Easy and include select invitations, holiday cards and business items. Our Policies. Gift Certificates and their use on TSS.com are subject to The Stationery Studio's general Online Policy and Privacy Policy which are available to be viewed on TSS.com. Risk of Loss. The risk of loss and/or title for Gift Certificates pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the recipient or purchaser, whichever is applicable. The Stationery Studio will have the right to close customer TSS.com accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Certificate is redeemed through the TSS.com.
