These are painted in special glaze formulas before the product is kiln fired thus the decorations melt into or "bond" within the clay. The finish is 100% permanent and completely dishwasher safe. All products are made from "scratch" and each piece is chip-resistant and lead free. Jar is 8 inches tall and 7 inches wide. This is a hand-painted item. Slight variances in skin tone may occur.
